The Send Institute is currently conducting an extensive survey of North American church planting networks and organizations.
As the conversation in North American church planting shifts from an “addition” mindset to a “multiplication” mindset, denominations and networks are adjusting–and in some cases, overhauling–their systems and processes to reflect this shift. Reasons for this shift vary from the Biblical responsibility of congregations to reach their local context to more sustainable support for church plants to scaling organizational systems.
The purpose of this research is to understand the current and best practices in recruitment, assessment, training, and coaching in denominations and networks with particular attention to practices in developing church planting churches.
The Send Institute will be presenting the findings and analysis at the Exponential East Conference in Orlando, February 26 – March 1, 2018. You are encouraged to come and hear the report and learn more about current best practices.
