Rev. Dr. Zaki Labib Zaki is an Egyptian-American Christian leader recognized for nurturing innovative, missional connections with diaspora communities. He currently serves in key leadership roles, including President of the Endowment Fund of the National Federation of Asian American United Methodists and President of the National Middle Eastern United Methodist Ministry Caucus. Additionally, Zaki serves on the Executive Committee of the Global Diaspora Network (Lausanne Movement Diasporas) and the Board of Directors of Amal International. 

With decades of pastoral experience, Dr. Zaki previously served as a District Superintendent for the United Methodist Church, where he oversaw 63 Chicagoland congregations and shepherded more than 80 clergy. He has also led several congregations as Senior Pastor. 

Deeply committed to community outreach and civic engagement, Dr. Zaki was appointed by two consecutive Chicago mayors to serve on the City of Chicago Commission on Human Relations, Equity Council. Zaki also served on the Chicago Police Superintendent Community Advisory Board for several years. His dedication to service earned him numerous awards including the State of Illinois Distinguished Leadership Award and the Don Atkinson Social Justice Award from the Methodist Federation for Social Action (MFSA). 

Dr. Zaki holds a Doctor of Ministry degree from the Chicago Theological Seminary, a Master of Theological Studies degree from McCormick Theological Seminary, and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Strategic Planning and Management from the Cyprus Institute of Marketing.
